ISC Joint Virtual Meeting with the National Digital Library Program (NDLP) and HEC's Journals Recognition System (HJRS) Held

Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC) joint virtual meeting with Dr. Syed Fauad Haider Naqvi, the director of National Digital Library Program (NDLP), Dr. Aziz Rahman, the vice-chancellor of HEC's Journals Recognition System (HJRS), and Dr. Azhar Ali Shah, ISC Executive Committee member in Western Asia has been held on Jan. 26th, 2024.

Following Dr. Azhar Ali Shah’s January visit to ISC, this meeting aimed to acquaint the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan with the new activities of ISC, discussing on how to expand these services in Pakistan and create a coherent process for the indexing of Pakistani publications in ISC’s Journal Metrics. This meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Syed Ahmed Fazelzadeh, the President of ISC and the Board of Directors.

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Fazelzadeh, ISC president, while welcoming the participants in the meeting, explained about the activities, scientific and technological achievements of this institute such as the evaluation, indexing and ranking of scientific publications and universities and science and technology platforms such ideas and Needs Platform (INP) and the Portal to get familiar with elites and future makers (DANA).

In the continuation of this virtual meeting, Mr. Aziz Rahman, the vice-chancellor of HEC's Journals Recognition System (HJRS), while expressing his satisfaction with the organization of this meeting, said: Considering the international scientific activities of the ISC, the expansion of scientific interactions using the joint scientific capacities of the two countries can be put on the agenda.
