Sharing 360 supply and demand in Challenges and Solutions Platform (CSP)

Challenges and Solutions Platform (CSP) was launched by ISC in 2022 with an emphasis on completing the chain of science, technology and innovation with the society and industry. CSP as one of the ways to apply knowledge, research projects (master's dissertation and doctoral theses), monitoring and processing the needs of the country, the participation of the general experts of the society in solving the country's problems, and using the vast capacities available in the country. It has been considered at all levels and completion of the idea chain to the phenomenon and commercialization of innovations, research achievements and inventions.

So far, more than 13,500 needs and ideas, including 11,171 needs and 2,339 ideas have been registered in CSP. Also, 623 private and governmental organizations have participated in this platform as brokers.

737 doctoral theses and 605 master's dissertation (1342 in total) are defined based on the needs of the country in CSP. The number of doctoral theses and Master’s dissertations in Engineering & Technical subject areas are 258, Humanities 193, Basic Sciences 123, Agriculture and Natural resources 50, Arts 37, Health Sciences 28 and Veterinary medicine 6 and the number of master's dissertations in Engineering & Technical subject areas are 220, Basic Sciences 130, Humanities 95, Agriculture and Natural Resources 56, Health Sciences 18, Art 13 and Veterinary medicine 6.

He added: All universities can participate in this platform. During the first process of recruiting students in the professor- oriented plan, Isfahan University of Technology with 171 theses, Shahid Beheshti University with 145 theses, Tehran University with 138 theses, Isfahan University with 138 theses and Shiraz University with 117 theses have participated in this project respectively. The details of the second process of the professor-oriented plan to attract postgraduate students based on solving the needs of the country in the first half of 2013 will be announced soon.
