ISC is about to update its ISC-indexed journals’ IF. Accordingly, the editors-in-chief of such journals are kindly requested to complete the archives of their journals along with their relevant articles in ISC’s database by June 20th, 2024 (This deadline is final and will not be extended.). For your kind information, in case the archive is not completed in due course, ISC will not be able to compute IF for such journals.

The respected editors-in-chief of journals are kindly requested to consider the following points:

  1. Please ensure that your journal archive is complete for the time span 2020-2023.
  2. To access your journal’s current content, please log onto https://ecc.isc.ac. In case, some journal/supplementary/special issues or articles are missing, please upload them (in Excel or XML formats) promptly on ISC’s Fast XML Uploading System (https://xml.isc.ac).
  3. The Fast XML Uploading System is a user-friendly tool that facilitates submission of journal data.
  4. The respected journals’ editors-in-chief and staff could also take advantage of ISC’s Web Service to submit their journal data directly and at-a-click to ISC’s database.
  5. Please also be informed that your journal data submission is considered to be complete only if the Result Section of the Fast XML Uploading System denotes so (c.f. item 2 above). This is especially important because the system checks the data uploaded thoroughly and might find problems and accordingly reject the submission. Such cases might happen, users should promptly revise their files per the report released by the system and resubmit them.
  6. As long as the period and the issue of a journal has not been yet closed and the new articles have been added to them over time (Continuous Journals), it is possible to send articles at different times (single or multiple), but in case of volume completion and sending all the articles to ISC, it is not possible to change the article and resend it to ISC.
  7. For journals that are published annually, sending and indexing all articles means as the final completion of that publication year.
  8. To facilitate submission of data by journals, ISC held an online workshop on May 17th, 2022 which is accessible through https://www.aparat.com/v/H185f. Users are kindly requested to watch the video, prior to starting the submission, to get a better command of the whole process of data uploading on ISC’s website.

Thanks

ISC
