Development of cooperation in university internationalization - indexing international publications – forming a connection to ISC scientific information sources

The ISC delegation met with Prof. Mahmoud Ak, Rector, directors and Faculty members of Istanbul university. ISC delegation consisted of Prof. S. Ahmad Fazelzadeh, president of ISC, and Dr. Mohammadreza Falahati, director of office of international scientific cooperation on Feb. 14, 2023.
This meeting was held based on ISC's planning to expand scientific, research, technology and innovation interactions with leading universities in the Islamic world.
In this meeting, Professor Fazelzadeh stated that in line with the development and expansion of cooperation in the field of knowledge-based economy, we have implemented ideas and needs platform for Iran, while it has implemented shortly for D-8 Countries. In this platform, effective and optimal communication is established between ideas and needs as well as researchers, industries, parks and universities.
In the end, while inviting the president of Istanbul University to visit ISC, he expressed his hope that the matters raised in the form of an MoU would be drawn up and signed by both parties during a visit to Shiraz.
On the other side, Prof. Ak stated that Istanbul University main focus is on the internationalization process of this university. He said that currently, more than 8 thousand foreign students are studying in this university. Also, this university is the only one in Turkyie that has an international publication center.
