ISC Hold a Workshop on the Status of Iranian Universities in National and International Rankings/ Birjand University host

A one-day workshop on introducing national and international ranking systems has been held on July 24^th

This workshop was presented by the head of ISC ranking department, Dr. Mansoureh Serati, in two different sections. In the first part, the necessity to pay attention to the mission of universities in formulating ranking indices, other issues like universities’ and research institutes’ methodology, criteria and ranking indices have been discussed. These iconic agendas were debated based on ISC citation database. Other interested mattes including the strengths and weaknesses of Birjand University were considered.
