Signing MOU between ISC and Malaysian Universities

Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) with the cooperation of the scientific counselor of Iran in East Asia, signed three MOUs with the University of Technology Mara (UiTM), University of Technology of Malaysia (UTM), and University of Science of Malaysia (USM) on Feb. 28- March 2, 2017, in Malaysia.

This MOU signed by the president of ISC Dr. M.J. Dehghani and the presidents of Malaysian universities, aimed at increasing friendship and cooperation, promoting mutual understanding, academic, cultural and scientific thought.

Based on this MOUs, top Malaysian universities will become members of ISC which can take advantage of its services, and will be ranked among Islamic countries and will be informed of their growth rate and scientific qualitative and quantitative outputs.
Malaysia is the third country after Turkey and Iran in science production among Islamic countries.

It is worth mentioning that ISC is the third scientific citation center after ISI and SCOPUS which is approved by the higher education ministers of the Islamic countries in Baku in 2008. This center seeks to complete scientific outputs of 57 Islamic country universities and present their scientific status through indexing their productions.
